Top Ten Books on my Fall TBR List
1.This Little Life by Hanya Yanighara
One of the books on the Booker Man short list.
2. The Lake House by Kate Morton
Love the author!
3. Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith
I am loving this series.
4. Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee
Still on the TBR
5. Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
I am actually a little afraid to tackle this- maybe a better winter book?
6. The Hot Zone by Richard Preston
This was the book club pick at the school my kids go to. Should be interesting since the host is a science teacher.
7. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I still haven’t read this!
8. She’s Not There by P.J. Parrish
I just read a review and it looks fun.
9. A Spool of Blue Thread by Anne Tyler
-another Booker Man short list book
10. East of Eden by John Steinbeck
(this seems to be eternally on my TBR)
Good luck with Infinite Jest – I haven’t read that yet either, and look forward to hearing what you think of it. You’ll love Me Before You, it’s excellent. Jojo Moyes is a wonderful story-teller.
Can’t wait for Career of Evil! I’m loving that series.
Great list! Go Set a Watchmen is high on my TBR too 🙂

Great list! I loved East of Eden. I’m also forward to Career of Evil.
I’ve just finished A Little Life – a harrowing but memorable read. It’s the only one I’ve read from the Booker shortlist so not sure how it compares.
I am in the middle of it- very harrowing!
Buckle in, it gets worse…
Can’t wait for Career of Evil! My book group just picked A Spool of Blue Thread for one of our spring reads, so I’m looking forward to that one as well. I have A Little Life on my Kindle, but I’ve been hesitant about starting a long book right now (although I’ve heard such good things). Enjoy your fall reading!
I enjoyed both Go Set A Watchmen and Me Before You. I’d be intimidated by Infinite Jest and A Little Life too, but I’m sure it will be worth the effort. Happy reading!
I am a little afraid of it!
