This week’s topic is-
Top Ten Characters that X- you pick!
I picked my top ten characters that I didn’t want to die, but did anyway.
1., 2. & 3.
Albus Dumbledore, Sirius, and Fred Weasly from Harry Potter.
Enough said
4.Beth March from Little Women
Contracts scarlet fever after nursing a sick family back to heath.
5. John Coffey from The Green Mile
God’s vessel condemned to die for a crime he did not commit.
6. Ned Stark from A Game of Thrones
The first in a long line of great characters George R.R. Martin has killed off.
7. & 8. Mama & Papa Meminger from The Book Thief
I knew from early on that Rudy probably died, but to take these two also just seemed cruel.
9. Primrose Everdeen from Mockinjay
Honestly did not see that one coming at all.
10. Charlotte from Charlotte’s Web
Broke my 8 year old heart.
Ohhh, this is a good list, especially Primrose. Did ANYONE see that coming???
Such a great list! You picked a creative topic! I agree- Beth March’s death was pretty traumatizing to read as a child.
My youngest was devastated when Charlotte died. He was so mad that his teacher had assigned it!
Anne Frank.
Are you trying to make me cry? *sniff* I was so traumatized by Beth when I was a child. Charlotte too. And Prim? That was just mean and unnecessary! Great list… but so sad!
I don’t know if I’d want Ned Stark. He’s awesome…but headless. lol.
I can live with Dumbledore dying (he’s well old), but it seemed bitterly unfair to lose Fred and Sirius. They were both quite young and had loads more to do. 😦
This a great list! I’m actually completely alright with Dumbledore dying, though when I read it I wasn’t. Book 7 changed the way I saw him so his death didn’t hurt anymore. Fred was really hard to take though, as was Hedwig and Snape. Just thinking about those makes me want to cry.
I was also a bit sad when Liesel’s foster parents died 😦
