Wow- this is my first Top Ten Tuesday in a long time-so excited to be back!
This week’s topic is-
Top Ten Authors I have only read 1 book by.
This is a little hard for me, since I usually try to read as much of an author that I have enjoyed as I can. I decided to look back on the book I have read, and list the authors that I am SURPRISED I have only read on book by. Here is the list
(I am a bit ashamed by some of this)
1. Charlotte Bronte- Jane Eyre
2. Virginia Wolf- A Room of One’s Own
3. Leo Tolstoy- Anna Karenina
4. Toni Morrison- Beloved
5. Margaret Mitchell- Gone With the Wind
6. Daphne du Maurier- Rebecca
7. Truman Capote- In Cold Blood
8, Harper Lee- To Kill a Mockingbird
9. Nathaniel Hawthorne- The Scarlet Letter
10. Edith Wharton- The Age of Innocence
When it comes to Harper Lee especially, you have a very good reason 😉
Ha- I realized that!
I’ve only read Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier too, I’ve been meaning to read more for ages!
I want to read My Cousin Rachel by her!
I had Charlotte Bronte/Jane Eyre on my list too. Lot’s of great classics on here (many of which I still need to read). 🙂

Love your list- I need to Read Oscar Wilde!
Ha, I don’t think you have anything to be ashamed about! How many people have read even one book by Tolstoy? 🙂 Until I saw your list, I didn’t realize that Margaret Mitchell had even written anything besides Gone With the Wind. Great choices! Makes me want to go get more books by some of these authors right now.
