Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait to Read
1. Doctor Sleep by Stephen King
I just finished The Shining and I NEED more King! Why not continue on with Danny Torrance’s story?
2. Sycamore Row by John Grisham
Love Jake Briggance!
3. Takedown Twenty by Janet Evanovich
Stephanie Plum is my guilty please. Come on and marry Moretti already!
4. Mad About the Boy by Helen Fielding
Ok- not SO thrilled once I heard about the big shocker- spoiler alert!! No Darcy? But I still want to read it.
5. Dust by Patricia Cornwell
I am a Kay Scarpetta junky- I know enough is enough, but another guilty pleasure.
6. Inferno by Dan Brown
I know this isn’t exactly new, but I still haven’t read it.
. **Need to read the first and the sequel**
7. The Wolf Chronicles by Anne Rice
I used to love reading this author- her Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair Witches series were so fun-and I hear her son is pretty talented too!
8. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
I have heard this is really good, but have never started it- probably because my local library never has it in!
Hmmm….my whole list could be a “guilty pleasures” list.
So, what sequels are you waiting for?
Please leave a comment- I love to hear from you!!
Woooooooo OUTLANDER! Outlander and all the sequels! 😀
I haven’t read any of these, but have heard really good things about Doctor Sleep. And I had no idea that Anne Rice’s son was a writer!!
Here is my list this week.
I have heard her was very good- will have to look into it. I just started Doctor Sleep- it is great!
Inferno was good, if you like the others. Doctor Sleep was really good!
Just started it- loving it!
I completely forgot about Mad about the Boy! It’s a pity about Darcy but I’ve read the first two books (and seen the films) so many times that I just HAVE to read it regardless. 🙂
Ooh, enjoy Doctor Sleep! Loved it! A big YES to Outlander — but watch out! It’s addictive. 🙂 I’ve never read any of the Bridget Jones books, but having seen the movies, maybe I should give them a try. Great list!
I still haven’t read Inferno either! I have it on hardback and I love this series. I don’t know what’s wrong with me 🙂
too many books, too little time.
I’m reading Mad About the Boy at the moment – so addictive, just like the other Bridget Jones books. Loving it, don’t want it to end!
I agree with you about Anne Rice. I used to be such a fan. Now I keep picking up her Wolf books and sighing…. I think she just lost something in the last 15 years. After she wrote her vampire and Mayfair series’ something went out of her. I’m still thinking about trying the wolves…
She did a whole “religious” conversion- and rote a lot of books like that, but I hear the Wolves series is like her old ones.
