This week I had a lot of fun rereading The Book Thief by Mark Zusack for a Read Along over at It’s All About Books. I admit it was a pretty slow week for reading otherwise, though I did spend a leisurely Sunday morning with a nice cup of coffee and the bulging Sunday Paper!!
This week I am hoping to finally post my review of Amity & Sorrow by Peggy Riley.
I am just breaking the spine on Lauren Graham’s Someday, Someday, Maybe.
And after that I have The Never List by Koethi Zan, and In The House upon the Dirt between the Lake and the Woods by Matt Bell waiting in the wings!!
What are you reading this week? Please leave a comment- I’d love to hear from you !!!
This week I am working on THE HISTORIAN by Elizabeth Kostova, THE BLACK COUNT by Tom Reiss (fantastic so far), and MOTHER, MOTHER by Koren Zailckas.
This week I’m finishing THE DREAM THIEVES by Maggie Stiefvater and THE YEAR OF SHADOWS by Claire Legrand. I recently purchased the IN THE HOUSE UPON THE DIRT BETWEEN THE LAKE AND THE WOODS as well, it looked really interesting.
Nice week. Amity & Sorrow has been popular.
ENJOY your week and your reading.

My It’s Monday, What Are You Reading
I am reading Ahab’s Wife by Sena Jeter Naslund.
I have heard that was very good-hope you enjoy it!
It is very unusual. Good so far!
You have some good books on your list…I enjoyed Someday, Someday, Maybe. Thanks for visiting my blog.
I can’t believe I have never gotten around to reading The Book Thief. A slip on my part. I have Someday, Someday Maybe on my kindle, but not read yet. Enjoy the week.
This is a reread for me-I have to say it is one of my absolute favorite books-hope you get a chance to read it soon!
I still haven’t read The Book Thief, and it’s been on my TBR forever! Someday, Someday, Maybe seems interesting.
Thanks for stopping by earlier! Happy reading 🙂
The book thief is a great book, great writing and original storyline. I am currently reading Between Two Thorns by Emma Newman, a great fantasy series.
I love a good fantasy series- I will have to look for that!!
Your Sunday morning sounds lovely. I’m looking forward to reading Someday, Someday, Maybe and In the House Upon the Dirt Between the Lake and the Woods. I hope you enjoy them!
Thanks!
I am normally a re-reader, but I loved The Book Thief so much that I’m afraid to read it again. Can it possibly be as good as I remember it being? What if it was just a case of the right book at the right time? I don’t want to tarnish it. It is hands-down my favorite book. Enjoy your week!
I actually enjoyed it more this time. The first, I was taken with the wonderful story, but this time I was swept away with the writing b/c I wasn’t wrapped up in what happens.
I’m guessing The Book Thief will enjoy a resurgence in popularity now the movie is due out soon.
Have a great reading week,

I really struggled with In the House Upon the Dirt Between the Lake and the Woods, but I’ll be interested to hear what you think of it!
Ever since I started reviewing books, I have had a hard time drudging through books that just aren’t doing it for me. I look at my pile and feel like I should just move on. Unfortunately, I find myself doing that more and more often!
