I love your choices. SNOW FLOWER AND THE SECRET FAN is one of my all time favs. I’ve actually read about half of the books listed, and I saw some I’d like to read.

The first book I thought of when I saw this topic was The Secret Garden! And next was Bridge to Teribithia. Good list! And I like your new blog look, too.

Great choices! Definitely the HP books; I’m seeing them on lots of lists today, including mine. I almost included Little Women — probably should have, for their friendship with Laurie. Oh, and The Secret Garden, yes.
Anne of Green Gables is another fab book about friendships

Totally loved The Secret Garden and The Book Thief! I’m yet to read Snow Flower and Kite Runner, but those are definitely on my list. Great List!
